  • I Had to Move

I found out that the landlord was pulling some shenanigans so I decided to move.  I moved into a spacious two bedroom apartment across the street from school.  The new apartment is great but I had to leave some very sweet little friends.

Missy has a hard time not being totally precious.

Missy Wanting Tummy Missy Wanting Hugs II

They always try to turn my morning walk into a major and neverending hugfest.  Mommy Dog will nip at my fingers as they swing back and forth.  That's her "Stop right now! It's hugfest time!!" signal.  She's been working very hard to train me up just right.

Mommy Dog and Missy wonder what I could possibly be doing besides giving them all the lubbin's in the world.

    Mommy and Missy I

I will miss my reptilian friends too.  They give me lots of space but my yard is their home.  The grass attracted all kinds of bugs. As a result there are lots of fat tummied lizards running around the place.

  • The Nose Knows

It has been said that Jeremiah was a bullfrog.  May I purpose that Kilroy could have been a lizard:

    Swift Nose II

My little buddy is hanging out right on the wall of my back porch only a couple of feet from my back door! He is so tame for being a wild little thing.  Isn't he pretty?  He looks like a miniature dragon.

    Swift Nose I

Well, here are two guard noses.  Yes, that's "guard nose" not "garden hose":

    Dog Noses

Missy (the brown grrrlll) and Mommy Dog are sleeping away 107 degree heat the best they can, right outside my front gate.  I soak the ground in the morning so that the evaporating water provides a little cool relief for them.

  • The Yard Bird

With life happening all over the place sometimes mishaps happen:

    Wee Bwee Thirsty

This poor little thing spent part of a day and a night on the ground after falling out of his tree.  Mommy Bird would pop down just long enough to some poke food in his mouth.  I kept an eye on the situation and in the morning I saw the little one trying to do a soft drink commercial.

So I put the little thing back up in the tree.

Wee Bwee Back in the Tree

Yes, I do take shameless advantage of the weak and defenseless and I got lots of 'queezin's.  Notice the look of dazed indignity.  That is a sign of 'queezin's on those too young to understand what just happened to them.

    Missy Smiling After Her 'queezin'

Here's little Missy after she just got her 'quezzin's.  She understands 'queezin's and gives a big smile!!

Meanwhile...  I guess everyone wants to get in on the act.

  • Of Fat Tummies and Sore Tummies

There are all kinds of fat tummies around here.  Life is good.  Fat tummied sparrows, doves, ravens, bunny rabits and ...

    Gorgeous Swift.jpg

Lizards!  What a beautiful creature!!  He strikes a pose just to make me happy.

Then he goes back to waiting for more din-din.

    Once he leaves...

...the smaller creatures come by.  Same wall.  Same menu.  While the lizards are scarfing up insects...

Mommy Dog Trying to Beat the Heat.jpg

Mommy Dog tries to beat the heat.  It's just miserable.  And poor little Missy...

    Poor Little Missy.jpg

I took her to the vets today to get spayed.  It was heart wrenching.  She's a wild little thing and simply did not understand what was happening.  I cuddled her all the way to the operating table.

Here she is sleeping off the anesthetic.  Isn't she just a beautiful young princess?!

  • The Need for Beauty - The Last Supper

Just one last entry on my vacation.  Whenever I go someplace it has to be beautiful.  When I am surrounded by beauty I seem to rest deeply.

    The Last Supper

This was my last supper.  If I hadn't have been so hungry I would have just stared at it for a long time.  Instead, I dug and made a pig of myself.  What fun!

    Last Water Show

This last water show was the best one all week.  I never got tired of watching them.  What a great memory.

    Across the Street

Bally's has such an incredible entrance-way light show. I saw it later at 4am at its best.  It looks like magic

    Bellagio Marquee

This view makes for a great souvenir!

Hey Charlie! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
  • Desert_Eagle_AE
XD It will be the year of cow in the upcoming year. Having the year of rat every year will be boring! My friend said that the year of cow is the year to slog while the year after that (the year of tiger) is the year to roar!
